Happy Tails is happy to report that we survived the Winter Storm of 2008! We had over 15″ of snow and it took over two hours for us to clear our driveway.
The alpacas elected to stay close to the barn and nibble on hay, in lieu of venturing out into the snow banks.
After giving much thought to the 2008 Spring show circuit, Happy Tails will be attending the following shows:
April 4 - 6 - The 2008 Indiana Invitational - Fort Wayne, IN
April 11 - 13 - The 2008 Kentucky Classic - Louisville, KY
May 2 - 4 - The 2008 Buckeye Show - Columbus, OH
We look forward to the upcoming show season, seeing old friends, making new ones, and most importantly, learning how alpacas from Happy Tails will benefit your farm.
Please stop by our farm exhibit and let us know that you saw our internet site.

We had a grand time at the Indiana Alpaca Invitational. Shadow placed sixth in his class, while Blue placed fourth in his class. I am looking forward to seeing everyone in Lousiville.

We had a great time at the Kentucky Classic as well as at the Buckeye Invitational. Shadow and Blue had the same results at the Kentucky Classic as they did at the Indiana Invitational, sixth and fourth. Blue also had a fourth at the Buckeye Invitational.
Spring has definately been a busy time of year. We’ve added lime and fertilizer to two of our pasturs so far. I hope the get the other pastures done this weekend. We’ve also completed to two more stall in our barn and now have four stalls.
Yesterday was shearing day at Jefferson Laurel Farm. We assisted them and had animals sheared as well. Boy, they really look different after getting their annual haircut!!
Stop by and see us. Tell us you saw our internet sight.
